Ken East Brunswick Blog
East Brunswick’s first ken of the year was a great success! We started off with a quick name game to get to know everyone, and then we began talking about Sukkot. Our chanichim went around saying what they knew about the holiday, and then we went outside to make our own sukkot out of candy! We had graham cracker walls, pretzel stick roofs, chocolate frosting glue, and M+M decorations, all topped with sprinkles. Everyone then competed in a Sukkah Fashion Show, where they got to show off their creations and give a backstory to their sukkah. After washing our hands, we brought out the Galgal of Games, which had six games that we play at our summer camp. We spent the rest of the ken playing a bunch of fun games (my favorite was the Cucumber Game)! It was an awesome time for everyone, and we’re so excited to see everyone back at the next ken!
