Thank you all for coming out for
Apple Picking. We had a great time!
Apples (and pumpkins) were picked, we had some fun contests and an election peula for tzofim. We were happy to meet old and new faces in this amazing weather.

This Sunday, we had our first in-person gathering in Central Park, where families and friends came to celebrate Sukkot!

Following a round of introductions, chanichim split up into teams and got to build their own sukkot out of cardboard, markers, and whatever they could find in the woods. We had a round of vegetable showdown where they competed to see who was the best at imitating a lulav, etrog, hadas, and aravah. We finished it off with what our ancestors tried to do for 40 years: We found Israel! The flag, at least. The chanichim had to find the flag blindfolded.

After the games, we spread our picnic blankets on the ground and got eating. We said our goodbyes and started getting ready for the apple picking ken on October 18th!
